MLM Recruiting - Just the First Step

When someone says "I want to join your business opportunity", most network marketers get really excited, but this is only the beginning. You have to ask some important questions when you hear that magic phrase. If you don't do this, they will get lost and disappear. Of course every one of your team members is ultimately responsible for their own success. However there is a lot you can do to launch them on their journey to wealth. Consider these points to start them off. When you both know what their goals are, you can develop a strategy together. Ask what their targets are for a month, six months and twelve month ahead.
Achieving product sales is vital and their warm market may be a legitimate area to begin with. Find out what other outlets they plan to target.
To find a plan that fits your new team member, ascertain their interests and potential strengths. Team building and selling products require different skills.
We don't need to use all the products in our company's range. But we do need to find and use the ones we like. That gives us experience and stories to use in promoting them. Help your new downline develop a plan for using the products.
You will achieve this simply by asking questions and understanding your distributor's dreams.Your new business partner needs to feel part of a team. These steps are important too. Connect them to your upline genealogy by sending them a list of your line of sponsorship with names, phone numbers and email. Encourage your sponsor and other uplines to send a welcome message to your new business partner. This habit should be well established in a good team.
Some basic information on getting started is essential. Try to do this on a 'need to know' basis. Don't overwhelm them too early but at least they should be clear on how to order their own products and how to do that for their customers.
Schedule three or four training sessions of no more than one hour apiece. You should aim to do these in the first two weeks. This is when you can share information about team or company training; strategies to start finding new business prospects; doing presentations; personal skill development and other tips and tricks you have picked up.The best way to help your new recruits become productive and successful distributors is to listen carefully to what they want. Then you can guide them, using your experience to achieve their personal goals.
