3 Dirty Little Secrets Your Company Doesn't Want You to Know

I spent my first few years hyping everything about the company I was with and went so far as to denounce anything that wasn't part of their culture. I made a few bucks early on and, as a newbie, they had me wrapped around their little finger. I got caught up in the company's sales presentations, went to their national sales events and really "drank the kool-aid!" I thought that this business was the BEST way for me to make a heck of a lot of money and there was NO WAY anything better could possibly exist! This brings me to Dirty Little Secret 1 - Your company doesn't care about you. They only care about their bottom line. This is hard to swallow as a new distributor, but it is one of the scams MLM companies really try to hide. They talk about providing the best products, being the best at training people, and really helping people succeed...but in reality none of that really matters to them. All they want to do is make money, and whether you earn anything at all is inconsequential.Dirty Little Secret 2: Your company exists so that people can make money. This is one of the scams MLM Companies try to spin in a million different ways. Each company has some great and noble reason for existing, but in reality, network marketing is a very inexpensive method of distributing products (no advertising costs, and no sales costs). For someone on the outside looking in this may be shocking. Even some seasoned network marketers may be a little taken aback by this.On the surface this may look like a bad thing, but it isn't at all. So many people want to own their own business and cut the ties to corporate jobs, and Network marketing companies provide people a really easy and inexpensive way to start a business.Dirty Little Secret 3 - The products your company is so high on are probably a little overpriced. This is one of the MLM scams that distributors will fight tooth and nail to renounce because it is difficult to put a dollar amount on value. If I get a lot out of a product it is valuable to me, but may not necessarily be that valuable to someone else. Going back to number 2, the companies exist so people (the distributors) can make money so the product prices have to be slightly inflated in order to pay out commissions. This again isn't such a bad thing. The companies are providing an excellent business model for people and a way for them to become financially independent. Read below for more information on the fastest way to create independence with ANY MLM.
