Three Main Components to Make Your Dreams a Reality in a Home Based Business

I have written a prior article about how the power of a dream is the key to the longevity of a home based business. Now I want to discuss - what are the core components of how to make your dream a reality?These components are: 1. Mindset 2. Skill set 3. ExecutionMindset is the first important component to make your dream a reality. A positive mindset goes a long way. You have to have consistency in your day. Plan your day out by blocking out time when you will do calls, make appointments, show your business. Have faith that you will succeed; doubt only robs you of success. What is your 5 year plan? Did you know that most companies take close to 40 years to achieve success and longevity? In a network marketing company, with hard work and dedication, this can be achieved in about 5 years. Positive self talk is free and always works. Attitude is everything. For example: I say to myself "I am on the verge of a company that is at just the perfect time for growth- it is like the perfect storm!" When someone tells you "no I'm not interested", it does not mean "no" it simply means "this is not the right time for me." A positive mindset!Skill set is the second component of making your dream a reality. In order to succeed and be effective you must know your product and use your product of your home based business. Why would someone join your team if you do not use the product yourself? You must be an example of your business! You must teach the people that you bring in your business this very important lesson. Teach by example. Show them how to get prospects. Have a goal such as; how many prospects you will call in a day or a week? How will you show your prospects your business? What will you say to your prospects? How are you going to follow-up with your prospects? When you sign up your prospects, how will you help them get started? Skill set is an extremely important part of your business; it lays down the foundation towards longevity of your home based business.Execution is the third component for the longevity of your business. You must take action. You need to plan your day, even if it is just one hour. You must commit everyday to what you are going to do. Whether it is to do your own prospecting or to help your team, everyone needs to be accountable to complete the action that they are taking. Write a list of your goals and check them off as you have completed them. Without action, you will be going nowhere.
