Their are over 60,000 Independent distributors worldwide and have served over 12 million customers.Their products seem to be of quality, but a quality product is useless to the seller unless they have adopted a good marketing strategy.Is a Pampered Chef business opportunity worth investing in?The start up kits are around $155. For an additional fee, a consultant website can be launched to help generate sales. Any additional items that you want to demonstrate you have to buy at a discounted price. They are a direct sales program that trains consultants to host cooking parties to generate sales. Products are primarily sold through in-home cooking demonstrations known as cooking shows. Consultants make anywhere from 20%-25% of all sales, depending on their monthly sales volume.Making at least $100 in sales every month is required for consultants to maintain an active status. Consultants that don't meet their $100 dollar quota every month are charged a $2 insurance fee.There are eight different levels from consultant to national Executive Director and each one earning a higher percentage of sales as they move their way to the top. You are also paid a percentage of the sales from the people you were able to recruit. The only way to make money in Pampered Chef is SELL! SELL! SELL! If you don't mind toting your tools around with you, demonstrating them and doing a lot of talking, then you may enjoy being a consultant. If you are looking to build a business under you with a residual income, this is probably not what you are looking for.
