Are Network Marketing Opportunities All Get Rich Quick Schemes?

When I am asked by people, are network marketing opportunities get rich quick schemes, I have several ways to answer them. The first way I love to ask them is ask them a question in return, "Are you looking for a get rich scheme?" Now, if they are, I will come back and ask them what are they willing to give up over the next 90 days to be able to get rich? I ask how many hours are they willing to commit in that period of time and how much of a product will they commit to moving? Now, if they tell me they are not willing to step up to these tasks, I tell them then no, you can not get rich quick if you are not willing to do the unbelievable.The only get rich quick schemes are gambling and crime, but both come with heavy costs and ultimately, you will lose in both. I would not recommend either of these because they are very risky and little success.Now in network marketing, I will tell you that yes it can be very lucrative, but it is all about expanding and moving of the products and services. In network marketing, you should realize that all the products and services revolve around things that you need every single month, so this is why it is important to believe in the product and find the people that the product will help. If you try to slam it in to people who do not need the product or want it, they cancel and you have to find new people every month. I tell people, do not worry about getting other reps, find the customers. You can always convert someone from being a customer to a rep, but most times a rep does not always convert to a customer. Those are the people that look at the business from the standpoint of the compensation plan, and they do not care about the product or its benefits and they will have a hard time moving more product. A customer who loves the product will tell others and be very excited to do so.Another area you want to focus on, is it a get rich quick scheme is how much money do you make from each sale? Some companies have small margins so it takes a lot more product sales to see the incomes come in. Now, it it is a company developed product, their is a larger margin. If it is selling stuff that normal retailers have, you have a smaller margin. So, just know how much you need to move to create the income you want.It also depends on how much time you want to put into your business. Can a standard business owner get rich in their business? Yes, but it takes time and finding customers. You are a business owner, no matter traditional or network marketing. It takes time, so it is not a get rich quick scheme, it is a way to get rich if you are dedicated.
