This is a review of the Herbalife products and business opportunity. The company began back in 1980 by a young man called Mark Hughes. Mark's idea of a healthy weight loss program began with his weight loss concerns for his mother; whose death he attributed to an eating disorder and an unhealthy approach to weight loss. In February 1980 Mark Hughes started selling his Herbalife weight loss products door to door and from the trunk of his car.30 years later Herbalife International has grown into a 2.3 billion dollar company which operates in 72 countries. The product line has grown from weight management to sports nutrition, personal care, and basic and targeted nutrition products.Research and development is priority to the company as setting the standards by which all other nutrition companies follow. The company established its own Nutritional Advisory Board (NAB) and Scientific Advisory Board chaired by David Heber, M.D PhD comprised of leading experts in the fields of nutrition and health who help support and train the independent distributors on the principles of nutrition. I think the products speak for themselves as the company has been going for 30 years and over 30 million people take the products every day, any good business is based on a successful product.Herbalife is a multi-level-marketing (MLM) company; the distributor earns money by 2 income streams:1. By selling the products to the general public.2.
