Is Dubli a Good Business

Dubli came on to the scene in 2007 in Europe, launching with reverse auction website. They had 3 different types, one where you clicked and if you liked the price you could buy it, the zero auction where the person that clicked it became zero and then the lowest unique bid, where people will bid and only if you have the lowest bid and no one bids the same you will win. Then they launched in the US in March of 2009. They then added an online shopping portal which you could make money from any purchase. The GoodThis is a unique business because you are grab what you want and possibly at the lowest price you want. When they launched in the US, people were saying it would be the next eBay. Then they moved over to Australia and New Zealand. They have a promotion that if you add enough and become a SVP, then you can get a lot in the Caymans, called Dubliland. The BadWhen Dubli started expanding, the online shopping in Europe was killed. They killed the zero auctions, and this is when Michael Hansen went nuts. Basically in the US, you have to pay a license fee, and buy a credit package which needs to be paid yearly. You are buying tokens in your start up that people will use in the auctions and you give away in hopes people will gamble. Now, this is where I feel is the worse part of this, because they are gambling with your money.ConclusionThis company makes me a little nervous. A few really profited in the beginning, but with changes to the compensation plan, it is more difficult. If they go back to the original compensation that they did, then I think this could improve their future. In the shopping portal, many people are lucky to make $5-$10. My advice is to leave this one alone, but the choice is yours. I would say if you want to profile your potential customers, you need to find gamblers that will take a risk. Sure you can get some good deals through the auctions, but you may be wasting money because someone could snatch the item from you. If you want help targeting the market that will buy the credits and help you get your business rolling with Dubli, you need to know how to market or invest in learning the tricks in the industry. I can tell you that I have watched this company for awhile, and I am nervous about them, however, you may see the model and love it. The choice is yours and you could do well. But remember, profile your customers and learn to market to them.

My Harvest America - Is Anyone Harvesting Incomes From My Harvest America?

My Harvest America has just entered the scene of Network Marketing in December of 2009. Founders Ron Ellis and Fred Weih have brought online grocery stores to the internet. They allow you to do your normal shopping in the center aisles of your grocery stores at discounted prices, and free shipping. The Good: It is funny when you think about online groceries as being a business that someone can form a business around, but the reason it is exploding as it is, because it is an easy subject to talk about. Fred's vision was that one day grocery shopping would be easier and cost less. Now I will say, that what Fred's vision was, and how it came to be may not have been in his first thought of how to do it. But here is why, Fred, could become more famous than Sam Walton in my mind. What is the top two cost factors of any business? They are facilities and people. This is where in my mind, it makes sense. What costs more, one facility or hundreds. Well the advantage of hundreds is that it is everywhere and anyone can go there any time. This drives the costs up. When you have it where one location can meet the needs of customers anytime, and one location then this drives significant costs out of the business, and he is passing it on to you. Ron Ellis was introduced to Fred and Ron was ready to start his own network marketing company and he made the two worlds meet. One area that is nice about this is that they pay the shipping of the groceries to your door by FedEx ground..The Bad: If you need groceries now, you have to resort to your local grocer. As I said in the beginning, they are new, so they are going through a lot of bumps in the area of customer support. They have limited products and they are working to add to them. Also, as I said earlier, it is the center aisle, so you can not get bread, milk, veggies, fruits or meats. When you have a lot of groceries, sometimes the boxes are heavy and if FedEx leaves them at your door, it is hard to carry them in. When they started, the grocery delays were about 18 days, but that is suppose to be improving now, because they took on more responsibility and did not outsource it. This also impacts the unemployment numbers, because if you only ship from one location, the more this becomes popular, local grocers may have to cut back on staff. This is only a United States company for now, but people who live close to the boarders, have found ways to get delivery to a US address and take them international. Customer support is all done via emails, and no way to call to get customer support. Until you join, you can not browse the items you shop for, but they have provided a video of the shopping. Some loyalty shoppers are showing people the prices so you can make a wise decision. The cost is $39.95 per month to get 20-70% off your groceries. In Conclusion:For those that are concerned about the concept, it is not totally new. There have been other companies that do the groceries, and they do the delivery from local stores. Although they did not cut the fat as much as My Harvest America, it was done. It is your choice, can it supplement what you do, yes! You can place orders on a regular basis, and that can speed up the appearance of the delayed deliveries. Out of the center aisles of your shopping, how much do you spend? If you can justify the $39.95 per month, and you save more, then great. The company is not totally transparent, so you do not know how financially strong or weak they are. You are only paid $11 per customer shopping or $1 per loyalty customer in most cases, so do not plan to walk away from your job too fast, but the good news is, if a customer justifies the expense, it definitely sets you up for the residuals. If you are building this as a business, then you need to learn how to really market the business. There are a couple small pockets but most tell you talk to those you know. Just like most networking businesses, training is weak at best, and you will want to seek out assistance of someone who can help you build this fast.

Five Characteristics of Successful Network Marketing Companies

In the current economy, many people are looking for a way to supplement their income, without having to take on a second job. Because network marketing allows for flexible hours and the potential to earn a lot of money, many of them are considering getting involved with this business, instead of a traditional job. The problem for the majority of them, however, is finding the best company to join. The only way to determine this is to learn what characteristics the successful network marketing companies all share. While every company may have a different philosophy, they should all be centered around the satisfaction of their customers and their members. The following are traits of those companies that are worth joining:1. Reputation: The only network marketing companies that you should consider joining are ones that have earned the reputation of being a solid and professional business. Look for feedback about the company online. Those who have had many bad reviews or customer complaints should be eliminated from your prospects. If the company has earned itself a bad reputation, there is no doubt that you, too, will earn one just by association.2. Training Program: For a company to become successful, there members must be successful. If a company does not offer a thorough and complete training program for their members, they, too, should be eliminated from your list of prospects. The majority of people who get into this business have very limited experiences with this type of work. Without the necessary training, they are not going to become a success and neither is the company they joined.3. Products and Development: If network marketing companies do not offer products that offer a solution to a problem of the consumer, success will not come their way. The products themselves must be of quality and be at a fair price point. The best companies have also discovered their success is dependent upon their ability to offer products that must be replenished, which allows them repeat business. However, they must also continue to invest their time and money into product development, in search of ways to improve upon what they are already offering to the consumer.4. Commission System: The commission system set up for the members of a company must also be fair and consistent. The system must allow each member the potential to earn a high income. It should also allow each member to earn commissions on those products that must be replenished by the customer. This residual income is one of the main reasons that so many people consider getting into this business in the first place.5. Strong Company Leadership: Network marketing companies must also prove strong company leadership. Their main concern should be the success of their members and they should hold each member in high regard. Each member of management should be available to the members and show a high level of integrity. A company without good leadership will definitely run the risk of failure.

Why There is No Longer a Market For Multi Level Marketing

In this article Im about to look discuss some of the unique features of multi level marketing (MLM) and then show you why majority of the participants are going to earn not more than a couple of hundred pounds per month. In some cases MLM does have some great products but it comes with some inherent flaws in the business model that are never realized by the participants in such programmes. But these very flaws are very cleverly used to benefit a certain section while most of the participants are only left dreaming of the millions. I am dividing this article in four sections to explain you the ironies of MLM. The business model of MLM, its flaws and causes of failure Advertising in MLM and its ROI Who are benefited from MLM? Is MLM even legal and moral or just another pyramid scheme? The basic business model of MLM, as you know, is to sell a product as much as possible to gain profits. It creates a never ending chain of small retailers. So the whole question is if a product can sell itself so easily, why should you have so many retailers? Why exactly do the people having resale rights to these products not keep it to themselves and distribute them to others for a fee? If they have a great product why do they shy away from ordinary shops and regular vendors? The straight answer is that the product itself is not highly profitable but the resell rights are and hence they are sold to the ambitious yet inexperienced new entrepreneurs! So their plan is not to sell the product itself but to sell the resell rights again and again to have as many retailers under you as possible. So the glaring flaw is that you have more retailers than consumers! So this trick is only going to devalue the product by overselling it.Consider a simple example. Suppose Gucci sells a certain type of sunglass 5000 pairs in a year. But still they keep increasing the production and when they reach 20000 in production, they would still be selling 5000 only. So would they do with the extra 15000? Unless they sell them at heavily discounted rates, they would carry the stock till next year and they would be almost worthless. Also the customer would realize that they can get the thing at a cheaper rate if they wait for sometime thereby making optimum launch sales obsolete. MLM ignores these obvious flaws in the system and hide them with their clever marketing ploys.Online promotion can be an expensive affaire when the competition is high in the given field. If you have any idea about keyword research then you would also realize that pay per click advertising can be effective but expensive. If you advertise an MLM business on Google and wish to get a high ranking on sponsored search, you need to pay anything from 1 to 3.00 per click. It is the cost of driving people to your website no matter if they sign up or not. Internet marketing is a pure number game; its all about the traffic your site receives! Suppose you drive 100 prospects to your website and 1 of them signs up for a fee of 100. So you would still be spending 150 to get that one prospect if we assume an average cost of 1.5 per click! So it is a loss making concern and can never be called a good business. Although there are other free methods like articles, videos, press releases and forum signatures, they can only give you limited success if you have an obsolete product and your seniors in the line have already used them for the same product. So who actually benefits from MLM? It has already been explained that the profit is not delivered by the product but by the exploitation of the affiliates lower down the order. Those who are higher up on the hierarchy make profits from the losses of those who register under them. They simply sell improbable dreams of earning millions overnight to the recruit the affiliates. Such MLM marketers have been imprisoned in the past, but nowadays their highly paid lawyers manage to save them from going behind the bars.So the question is can you do the same to your friends and families? Can you mesmerize people with impressive presentations in meetings held in upmarket hotels knowing that they are going to suffer losses to make you rich? Have you already sold such dreams to some people while you are yet to earn anything yourself? I would like you to decide yourself. Just compare MLM with the illegal pyramid schemes found all over the net. Arent they the same? To be honest, there is only one way to earn real money on the web. That is with a guaranteed compensation plan and continuous support to you subordinates and of course with a really desirable product or service.

Do You Believe in MLM?

Recently the company BAZI/xcelr8 gave up using a network marketing business model and just yesterday iLearningGlobal made the same announcement. I had read the policies and procedures of iLearningGlobal a few months ago because I was mentoring someone in that company, and I knew then that this would probably happen. How did I know? Because of this clause, which they quoted in the letter to their distributors about the announcement:iLG reserves the right to terminate all Marketer Agreements upon 30 days notice if the Company elects to: (1) cease business operations; (2) dissolve as a business entity; or (3) terminate distribution of its products and/or services via direct selling channels. When the policies and procedures were written, the company owners already had it in their heads that this business model might not work. So how dedicated were they, really, to making this company work for their distributors?Henry Ford is often quoted as saying that whether you think you can do something, or you think you can't, you're right! The Law of Attraction backs this up. By believing MLM might not work, and focusing on it enough to put it in the policies and procedures, they set the company up for failure!I always advise people that before joining a MLM company they should:
Do their homework on the people running the company
Read the policies and procedures
Know how long the company has been in businessI am not sure who was running these two companies but I would guess it wasn't people who had been highly successful distributors for MLM companies in the past. Someone who had already excelled in this type of company would know that it works, and would not want such language in the policies and procedures. Also, knowing what it's like to be a distributor, they would have wanted to take care of the people who became distributors for them rather than yanking their business out from under them with 30 days notice! This clause or one very similar is actually in the policies of many MLM companies. You just need to read those policies to see this type of problem coming! And if you are investigating a company and they do not have their policies and procedures in writing, (preferably available on their website) or they won't let you see them until after you join, RUN!I never recommend that anyone join a company that is less than 2 years old, because of the high failure rate for new businesses. If the opportunity is good now, it will be even better when they've been in business a couple of years and have the kinks worked out. A proven track record of success makes it very unlikely that they will feel the need to change what they are doing, or close the company. On the other hand of course, if the company has been around too long then they are past their momentum phase and it will be difficult to achieve great success with them if you are new.In retail marketing, companies advertise to get customers. Those advertising budgets can be huge! Have you ever heard how much it costs to get a spot during the Super Bowl? MLM works by letting ordinary people do the advertising (which is human nature anyway) and giving them the money instead of paying an advertising company. It's that simple. You've been recommending products or services to people since you were a kid, you just never got paid for it!Who believes in MLM?
Donald Trump
Robert Kiyosaki
T. Harv Ecker
Warren BuffettSo those of us who believe, are in good company! Why get involved with the people who don't?
