How to Eliminate MLM Rejection
Traditionally, one of the biggest obstacles to success for new people in MLM network marketing has been rejection. It seems to take the biggest toll when someone is brand new in their business and their enthusiasm is at its highest. Rejection can come in many forms ranging from a polite "no, but thanks for sharing it with me" to outright rude, insulting, or sometimes even vulgar.Unfortunately, rejection from the people we know and love the most can sometimes be the most hurtful, even though that is usually not their intention. Nobody likes rejection. Some can take more than others. Everyone has a limit. Rejection has caused many people to quit their new business before they've even given it a fair shot. Typically, new networkers have been taught old-school methods like:Make a list of 100 friends, neighbors, and relatives to approach.Call in a favor or two.Purchase opportunity seeker leads.Host home parties. It's no wonder they suffer so much rejection. They are talking to the wrong people...people who for the most part, are not the least bit interested! Making the situation even worse, their sponsors have given them bogus advice like:You just need to talk to more people.Work through the rejection.Every 'no' you get means you're closer to a 'yes.'No wonder so many give up in our industry. The good news is that you can build a successful MLM network marketing business without dealing with rejection. And thanks to the Internet, you can do it mostly for free! The key is to promote yourself, rather than your business. We call it attraction marketing. With the right system, you can brand yourself as a leader and expert in the MLM industry.Using the Internet, you can quickly get enough exposure so that prospects interested in and actively searching for a networking opportunity will be contacting you, rather than you chasing them. With this approach you can eliminate rejection in your MLM network marketing efforts.

Are You Tired of Making Other People's Dreams Come True Instead of Your Own?
Life is not a game of chance, but a game of choice. Winners determine their futures in advance. They project what they want to occur in the future, and hold themselves accountable for that. My mentors often tell me that successful people and winners create their futures, rather than live reactive lives and acting like victims of circumstances. Most people, on the other hand, spend little time creating their dreams, and use most of their waking hours making other people's dreams a reality.Take a close look at your clock. When you wake up, decide what you're going to do today that will get you closer to the goals you set. Don't try to fill up your entire day by fulfilling other people's goals. For most people who work a typical 9-5 day, you have the greatest control of your day when you're not working for money or being told what you do. This time is called prime time, which is anytime between 6-11pm if you work a typical job. Most people come back home to relax and start watching television. If you do this, you are using your free time, where you have greatest control, to continue making other people's dreams come true. Through television, you are watching the actors, actresses, and comedians live their dreams, and getting highly paid for doing what they love and passionate about. It's not called prime time for nothing. They earn money while you are watching.I don't have anything against watching a little TV every now and then, but why not dedicate some of your prime time to create your dreams? Spend some time on personal development, like reading and listening to audio programs. Instead of escaping reality for these several hours, why not create the reality you desire? Use this time to network, write in your journal, converse with your family, and read.Start dreaming and write down the kind of life you want, and creating goals and plans to get you there. Imagine the kind of person you want to be, the kind of family you want, and the kind of lifestyle you want when you have time freedom.Spend time talking to your mastermind group and mentors. Ask them questions and listen to their wise words of wisdom. Seek advice from them and find out where you can make improvements in your life.Live in prime time instead of watching in prime time. Stop watching other people live their dreams. You are already doing this 9-5 making someone else's dream come true, so why continue doing that from 6-11pm? Control your clock! Make it your prime time, not theirs.

Four Steps, Four Days to Marketing Yourself As a Consultant
Today's economy has turned a lot of valuable employees into consultants. You have oodles of specific knowledge, you know there are companies that can use it, and you want to launch your own consulting business. Trouble is, you are an engineer, an operations manager, an financial analyst, a technical writer... not a marketer.By now you've figured out that marketing yourself as a consultant requires specific action - it's definitely not a case of, "If you build it, they will come." Never fear, I have some ideas to help you establish your reputation as an expert, get your name out there, and begin building your consulting business by the end of the week!Day #1 - Your Marketing PlanYou don't have to spend weeks putting together your business or marketing plan, and you don't have to pay someone to do it for you. The real value of putting together a solid plan is the way it makes you think through different scenarios, the competition, and the product you will be offering. A really great plan will also keep you on track as you build your business and it should be considered a working document - edit and change it as frequently as necessary.Answer each of the following questions in writing and please don't take more than 15 minutes per.Who is your ideal client? Consider size of company, industry, for profit or not. This is your absolute ideal, not a listing of any type of company that might be able to use your services. Describe who you want to work for. Focused marketing will pay off far greater than a shotgun approach. What work do you want to do? Similar to the first question, describe your ideal work. If you would like, you can create a separate description for secondary work. How do you want to work? Telecommute, onsite, or a combination? Do you want to travel? Why does your ideal client want you? Describe your core competencies and how you are different from the average consultant. Now you need to flip it over - What type of client business do you not want to work for? What work do you not want to do? How do you not want to work?Day #2 - Your ResumeYou do need to put some time in to presenting your experience and core competencies in a couple of different ways. First, start with your standard resume. There is much material available on creating a great resume so I'll not spend time on that topic. Once your resume is complete, create the following three complimentary items:One Sheet
Online Bio
Elevator SpeechA One Sheet is marketing collateral about your consulting business, designed to pique the interest of the reader. Where your resume is a professional, legal document that describes in detail where you have been, your One Sheet summarizes where you are going. Use present tense, bullets, lots of white space. Your One Sheet should be able to be read or scanned in a very short amount of time and provide a brief overview of your talents.Next, continue to distill your marketing message down to a 30-second statement that speaks to your value proposition. Your elevator speech is not your job title. When someone asks you what you do and you answer, "I am a consultant," you've just missed an opportunity to market yourself to an interested party. Your elevator speech should tell a story about who you are and what drives you.I am on a mission to assist microbusiness owners in using the Internet to grow their business, interact with customers and clients, and level the playing field against much larger competition. The term "small business" is a misnomer -- there is a vast difference in resources between a small-business with as many as 500 employees, and the entrepreneur who is going it alone. I have first-hand knowledge of the challenges that face these solopreneurs and I help them use Web 2.0 technologies to reach huge audiences with nothing but a great product, a laptop, and a pile of creativity. Finally, create an awesome online bio to be used primarily on LinkedIn and your blog.Judi Young is a writer and entrepreneur on a mission to assist small and micro businesses worldwide in joining the online conversation. Follow her blog..., where you can also link to her on Facebook and Twitter. Day # 3 - Social NetworkingSocial etiquetteHow successful would you be at a live business networking event if you came in like a politician 10 minutes late to a campaign stop -- in a mad hurry to shake every hand and pass out brochures and free pens, spieling off your top three campaign promises, not interested in chatting with and getting to know people, only in talking about yourself, your services, your consulting business. Believe it or not, there are people right now treating social networking as a campaign stop. It's the biggest mistake you can make.Instead, treat your online socializing and networking connections as you treat real live people at networking events:Listen 80%, Talk 20%
Always be polite and respectful
Offer and provide assistance, advice, information
Provide your online business card (web or blog address) for more informationIf you connect with someone who likes and respects you, and has a need for your services, they will seek you out.FacebookYou may already have a personal Facebook page. It is acceptable, even encouraged, to provide your professional contacts a glimpse into your personal life-to a degree. If you use Facebook regularly to keep up with friends and family, post pictures, and make political statements, you may want to consider whether your Facebook activity puts you in the best possible light with your clients. Maintaining a Facebook page is not critical to your success as a consultant, so you may wish to continue using Facebook as your personal site and rely on LinkedIn to socialize professionally. Tip: Farmville, MafiaWars, and other Facebook applications are generally considered to be in bad form in a professional environment.LinkedInLinkedIn is the most important site for a consultant to be active on. How did we connect with past colleagues, current business contacts, and other professionals prior to LinkedIn? Once you have your resume and marketing plan completed, sign up for a LinkedIn personal account (free) and start connecting. The initial LinkedIn process will walk you through connecting to colleagues already in their database. You cannot have too many connections on LinkedIn, so reach out to everyone you have worked with no matter how long ago. Next, connect to everyone you currently do business with-your real estate agent, your insurance agent, your lawyer, baker, and your children's teacher. Now comes the tough part: You must get recommendations in order to build Social Proof. Ask for 20 recommendations via LinkedIn today. Right now. LinkedIn makes it very easy. Just locate the Recommendations selection under Profile and select as many as 200 of your contacts. You can use the standard LinkedIn text in your request or customize it with your own words. LinkedIn sends out an individual message to each of the contacts you specified with your request for a recommendation. Now return the favor. Without being prompted, write recommendations for people you've worked with. View a few recommendations first and simply follow the format.LinkedIn groups are an excellent way to begin to establish yourself as an expert in your field and to provide assistance to your new connections worldwide. Search out and join all groups that are interesting. You can find groups based on your industry, hobbies, geographic location, alma mater (don't forget high school), and so on. For the purposes of networking for your consulting business, select groups with more than 1,000 members. LinkedIn limits the number of groups to which you can belong to 50, and some groups require approval by a group manager so there may be a bit of a wait before you can join.Once you join groups that are interesting to you, spend a bit of time perusing active discussions for the group before you dive in and begin answering questions. Finally, status updates-it is important for you to begin posting your status at least three times per day. You can reference a good article you read online (use /bit.ly to shorten URLs), tell everyone what you are working on, or talk about what you had for breakfast. The important thing is that you provide some insight to your day, show that you are being productive, and stay connected.TwitterUnless you want to consult in social media, it is not necessary that you become a twitterer. Tweeting regularly could help you up your social cred and increase contacts, however it is something you can undertake on day five and beyond.Day #4 - Article Marketing and Your Blog LinkedIn and Article Marketing are the one-two punch of your marketing strategy. You will begin writing industry-specific articles that establish you as a thought-leader and a subject-matter expert and you will publish them to your blog. You will also blast them out to Article Marketing sites and to Digg.Article Marketing simply means publishing your original article to the Internet via sites that are dedicated to distributing such articles. Effective Article Marketing increases your overall exposure and establishes you as an expert in your field.Your blog primarily exists as a landing place to hold your articles and allow your community to connect with you. Yahoo, Google, and Posterous are very quick and easy blogs to set up. I use and love Wordpress, but will admit that there was a learning curve in understanding the interface, setting up widgets and so on. I recommend you set up a very easy blog to begin and roll that in to a more advanced platform down the road.Writing and publishing articles for mass consumption is a bit daunting, so I've come up with this quick exercise to help. Find a kitchen timer and set it for 2 hours.1. Create a free account on EzineArticles.2. Create a free account on Digg.3. Write an industry-specific article, in under 90-minutes.Unless you regularly write for your industry, you might have a problem getting started. I personally stared off in to space for two days trying to think of a topic. Just pick something, anything, to get you started. Your second article will be much better, and the third better than that. How about the top 5 things I need to know about your industry? Or top 5 things to consider when hiring a consultant?4. Publish your article on EzineArticles and Digg.Whew. You did it. Ok, so I rushed you and this first one probably won't get picked up, but the publishing process should no longer be scary. Pretty soon you will be jotting down article ideas on gum wrappers while stuck in traffic. There are many other Article Marketing distribution sites that you can use; a quick Google search will produce many hits. Try businessknowhow and buzzle, and then find more on your own. Each time you write a new article, spend a few minutes searching discussion forums for appropriate conversations. Quote your article as an answer to a question and be sure to provide a link to your blog.Day #5 and Ongoing- Use Your ResourcesJust as you will be giving away some of your key knowledge in order to establish credibility, so are others. There is much free, valuable information on the Internet. Check out my blog to find links to sites aimed at small and micro business owners and more tips.

How Does the Current Economic Melt Down Impact Joe the Plumber?
You do not need to stop in on my blog to realize that the American Economy is in meltdown mode! It looks like all the king's horses and all the king's men are having a tough time putting Humpty Dumpty back together again. Corporations are in foreclosure and everyday there is a new company or storefront that has closed their doors. Lay-offs are on the rise. Times are tough. So what does that mean to former presidential hopeful John McCain's friend Joe the Plumber? How is the average Joe holding up and what are his options for the future?Well it depends on Joe's mindset. In his book "Think and Grow Rich" Napoleon Hill documents several department stores that burned down on a city street in 1877 in New York City. Certainly that was a time of economic meltdown for those stores and the average guys that were employed in those stores. Most of the owners of those establishments counted their losses and vanished into anonymity never to impact the American economy again. They took the disaster as the end of the road. They saw no way to resurrect prosperity out of ruins. Only one had the mindset to re-build his department store and reclaim his economic future. Marshall C. Fields rebuilt his department store on the same street corner where it had burned down. The store thrived for another century across America. The point is that if Joe thinks he is defeated he is. If he thinks that the current economic meltdown is the end of the prosperous road for him, then it is. If the average Joe thinks the road ahead will be plagued with financial lack and despair then that is where the road will take him. There is another option for Joe. He can discern the times and the marketplace trends in the world today and rebuild a prosperous future for himself and his family. In short he can refuse to participate in the recession. If Joe is smart he will discern that never before in history have there been more economic possibilities for the average citizen. Yes the big guys are breaking down and going bankrupt. But today Joe has options. Today the little guy can network with his friends and family and create a dynasty of wealth. The internet has opened up all sorts of possibilities to create a thriving business; in some cases there is little start-up cost involved. Joe must scrutinize the economic trends to understand that these are the worst of times, but they are also absolutely the best of times for the average and ordinary American to create an extraordinary financial future. Bottom line Joe, do not look back. Look up Joe. There is nothing but economic possibility on the road ahead! Seize the moment; optimize the trends and move beyond your losses to a new life and economic destiny.

Warning - Could Your MLM Company Go Out Of Business Soon?
There are no guarantees that a network marketing company will remain in business, but there are no guarantees that traditional companies will remain in business, either. However, looking at where a company has been is a good way to predict where the company is going. Nutrition for Life Internationals Tom Paredes suggests that before you join a company you compare it to the survivors in the industry. "Network marketing is more than half a century old,and during that time," says, Tom, "15,000 network marketing companies legally open their doors for business. Of those, only 30 lasted more than 10 years. Study some of those companies [that survived]. Then, if you're not joining one of those companies, find out what the company you're considering has in common with these survivors. That will give you a good indication of the company's strength, as well as it's prospects for remaining in business".Among network marketing executives and government regulators, attorney Jeffrey A. Babener is a recognized authority in network marketing law. During the past 20 years, his clients have included Excel Communications, Nikken, Avon, Body Wise, New Vision, USANA, Melaleuca, Discovery toys, and many others. To help you evaluate network marketing companies, Jeffrey offers these suggestions:*Get as much information as you can about the company. Look at the number of years in business, the area where it operates, the number of distributors, gross sales, and much more. Conducting the research requires some digging, but it will be well worth your time.*Read business and trade publications such as Entrepreneur, Business start-Ups, Network Marketing LIfestyles and others that report on specific companies.*Ask the person who presents the business opportunity to you with names and telephone numbers of other distributors as well as former distributors you can contact. Also ask to be introduced to retail customers. Talk to as many people as you can about the company.*Contact the attorney generals office in your state or the state where the company is headquartered, and ask whether any red flags has been raised about the company.*Call your Better Business Bureaus and ask whether any complaints has been filed against the company.*Find out whether the company is a member of industry association such as Direct Selling Association and the Multilevel Marketing International Association. These organizations have adopted standards for their members.*Attend one of the company business opportunity meetings and company training session, if possible, so that you can ask questions and talk to others in attendance, and gauge the company's professionalism.*Attend companies' webinar and participate with questions if possible.*Go to Citizenscorps.com for an independent overview of a MLM business opportunityThese are some of the many ways to do your due diligence in regards to coming to an intelligent conclusion when entertaining getting involved in a multi level marketing opportunity. How Does MLM Work?
If you are someone who has noticed the hype of earning money over the Internet and seen the overwhelming number of MLM companies present online, it is almost imperative that you now ask yourself this question:"How does MLM work?". What does one require in order to make the best decision in joining the right company? And does MLM work in the first place?MLM is, in fact, a legitimate industry and it does work. But it needs a great amount of dedication and time and effort from you, and the results that you will receive are typically a reflection of how much effort, dedication, and time that you put to it. The overall MLM industry transfers millions of dollars yearly between individuals for products and services, from nutritional products, to energy drinks, to Telecommunications, and even travel! The huge share of the pie of money in MLM comes from a few number of selected individuals. On the other hand, there are thousands of individuals who, through MLM, earn just hundreds and thousands of dollars per month. As I have said, your earnings can only be gauged by your professional and personal skill sets, also with your dedication to the business. So getting back to the main question, I'm going to just skim the surface on exactly how does MLM work, simply because it's not an easy process to elaborate on. let's take a look.Well, if you are willing to enter the world of MLM marketing, you first need to search for a good MLM company. Use Google search. But be careful and cautious in selecting the company that you are going to join. I recommend to visit their company site, or much better to call their company office for queries. A legitimate MLM company will be extending their arms to answer your questions. There has been a circulated story going around the MLM industry about duplication. This is a very easy concept: you sell products, and you are paid for selling it. Plus, you will earn more when the sales team that you built gets to sell. This is pretty much like how brokers earn commissions from real estate agents. But with the twist in MLM, you need to really get levels of people to join you. And this seems to be a major problem that many face. One of the factors that you need to make sure when joining an MLM company is that it should have a system for your success. If others who have utilized it have created success for their own, then you might be able to too! BUT focus on whether you are positioned at the right TIME and Place in the company to achieve the same goals that those before you have achieved. Finally, how does MLM work successfully? Or can is really? Well, if i had to pin point a single skill for MLM to work, i would say prospecting. It is the most important skill that you should have in order for you to achieve the success in the MLM industry. Now that you know how MLM basically works, it is imperative that you check out my report here to get a more indepth overview of the entire current MLM industry now.

Work at Home Now - Online
Work at home now-online with your computer and generate a great income. This is a dream many have today and it can be simple with the right knowledge and set up. Whether you are going to market your own product, be an affiliate marketer or a representative of an internet marketing company, there are many opportunities to work at home today. The internet age is here today, and to take advantage of it, all you need is a computer and an internet connection. The number of people online has exploded the last ten years and does not seem to be slowing down any time soon. This means more prospects for your at home business you currently have or one that you may start soon.A couple of the basics of having an at home business would be to have your own website where you offer your product or service, and being able to drive targeted traffic to your site. You will be competing with millions of other websites so just building a website will not put money in your pocket. In a conventional business the saying "location, location, location" is essential in its success. With an online business, the essential is "traffic, traffic, traffic". Without traffic you have no business. The best way to attract traffic is by using proven internet marketing techniques. There are both paid and free methods which could include: outdoor advertising such as banners and billboards, free and paid classified advertising, pay per click advertising, article writing, forum marketing, blogging, Twitter, MySpace, Facebook, forum signatures, viral marketing, and many more. The key to being successful is to learn how to implement these techniques and take massive action. Once you are proficient with these techniques you will have a lot of traffic, sales and a successful home business.

Infinity Downline Success - Is the Infinity Downline Training Helpful?
What is Infinity Downline all about, and how can you create an income from this program? Infinity Downline is a home business. It has a $25 start up fee. It was created by a well known internet marketer named Peter Wolfing. Wolfing was tired of the business opportunities that cost hundreds to join. He wanted to create something that the average person could afford.Let's say you bought a restaurant for a moment. You would not only have to pay rent to stay in the restaurant, but you would also have to pay your workers, electricity, supplies and other expenses that occur when owning a traditional business. What is special about Infinity Downline, is that it gives ordinary people like you and me the opportunity to earn residual income. When you sign up with this program, you will get access to hundreds of audios and videos from some of the top marketers in the world. You will learn both offline and online methods to help you grow your business. You also get a free customized website personalized with your information so that you can start promoting your business the minute that you join.Infinity Downline has a legitimate business model. But in any business, if you want to be successful, you must put the effort to become successful. As a member of the business, here are my positive and negative testimonials;1. It has a low start up cost that gives you access to a ton of training from some of the top marketers on our planet.2. The moment that you join, you will have access to a website that will help you market your business.3. It has a great product that anyone can learn from about becoming an advanced marketer.4. Infinity Downline gives you the potential to earn a six figure residual income.5. You get paid only on the people that your recruit brings in. This inspire team building and networking.6. There are no administration fees ever. Since Infinity Downline promotes digital products, 100% of the money used goes to you and your downline.Like most businesses that you will encounter on the internet, there are always pieces of information that the business is not sharing with you. I have come to learn that a prospect has a much higher chance of seeing success in a business, if they understand what they are actually getting into. Here are the cons that I found about this business that they are not telling you. After you have paid the $25 fee to enroll into the business, you will encounter a few optional expenses. You will have the option to purchase leads, get your own website with hosting, and the ability to use phone broadcasting or cold call marketing. These are all optional. Since there are no admin fees, Infinity Downline only makes a profit from marketing these optional resources.Even though there is a small start up fee, there is some information that you need to know if you want to be successful with this business. I hope that you understand that people don't join business opportunities. They join people. So how do you become a leader worth joining? You become a valuable person. When people see that you have marketing knowledge and tools to help them succeed, your prospects will be willing to join you. Just a quick tip, if you ever see someone saying that all you have to do is join the company and that you are going to be rich, run fast! People like that who are built on hype and no concrete marketing principles end up failing.Of course, not everyone is making money in Infinity Downline, but can you name me one business, where everyone that joins succeeds? So is Infinity Downline the right business for you? This is a great business for you if you fall into one of these categories;1. You are sick and tired of your job and want to take control of your own financial reality.2. You are happy with your current financial situation, but want to earn some extra income for yourself with a very small monthly investment.3. You are an online marketer that wants to take advantage of an additional income stream.Let me get into the most common reasons why people fail when they start an online business;1. They lack the proper mindset. If you don't believe in yourself how do you expect to succeed?2. Lack the marketing knowledge.3. Not willing to work hard.4. They think that success is going to come to them on a silver platter.Infinity Downline is definitely a legitimate business. But success in any company requires the right mindset, with the right marketing tools.

iLearning Global Shutdown - Why Did This Top Company Shut Their Doors and What They Should Do Now!
Recent breaking news in the MLM world is that the network marketing company, iLearning Global has shut their doors. But why did this company shut down? What happened to bring such a seemingly successful company to have to make such a drastic decision? Read on to explore the reasons behind the iLearningGlobal shutdown.Who are they?iLearning Global was an mlm and network marketing company, founded by Brian Tracy, which marketed personal development and business training products to their members. They provided videos of trainers and speakers, ebooks, live webcasts and audio programs. Representatives promoted the business opportunity through the traditional network marketing method of direct sales and referrals. The iLearning Global Shutdown:The company officially closed their doors on March 17, 2010 due to a lack of competitive edge and market demand as the majority of the information they marketed was freely available elsewhere. This has of course been a huge blow to the members of iLearning Global and many of the members are now being forced to look elsewhere to bigger and better things. What iLearning Global Reps Should do next:The best solution I can give for anyone facing tough times such as a company shutdown is to look online for a more automated and "recession-proof" system that will be able to stand the test of time. The internet has proven itself to be a viable tool and business industry for any entrepreneur looking to create a long term income source.During times like these when many mlm companies have been forced to shut their doors, it becomes even more crucial to be absolutely certain that you have teamed up with an Internet Marketing program that will have the tools and resources needed to show you how to brand yourself and not just a company or a product. You will never go away and people always follow people. So if you learn the right strategies to develop a brand around yourself you can have assurance that the business and team you are working so hard to develop will always have stability and you can continue to rely on your own track record no matter what may have happened to the particular products or services that you are marketing. The iLearning Global Shut down was very unfortunate but for the members with an entrepreneurial spirit it may prove to be just the push they needed to ensure that their future in business and marketing will be even more exciting as they learn to better market themselves with clever online marketing techniques and strategies.Top Internet Marketing School and Mentoring Program:The best solution will be to team up with an Online Marketing School that specializes in teaching all the top Internet Marketing Techniques such as article and video marketing, social media networking and keyword research for search engine optimization in order to ensure that you will develop a stellar brand and be able to drive continuous, qualified traffic to your websites! The best part is that they actually pay their members up to $900 US per day to refer new students to their program!

How to Make Money Offline With Network Marketing
I know in today's world of the internet, many people look to both sell and recruit online. I believe there are a lot of customers and team members to be found offline, by looking locally. One great way to attract customers locally is through advertising. What means of advertising do local businesses use? Is there a daily newspaper? Is there a weekly newspaper? Our local bowling alley has ads on their score sheets, on their placemats and on their walls.I very recently signed up a new distributor whose only interest was to sell locally. Prior to ever signing up, she and I brainstormed advertising ideas for her. She owns the local weekly paper in her town and wanted to place her ad for all of her readers to see. Her paper is also networked with papers all across the country. She is looking forward to placing her ad in those offline papers and gaining new customers in as many states as possible.I've had a license plate frame on my car forever. The frame mentions the company I represent and also has my phone number. Since the company is known nationwide, I don't need anything more than the company name to let others know what I have to offer. I do get calls regularly from people who say, "Do you still sell such and such?"Very recently our local high school did a fundraiser. They had several vendors come and sell products. There was no fee to the vendor, just an expectation that a small amount of the proceeds would be donated to the school. I gave out tons of catalogs and business cards to local people that day. I've since had orders that were not placed the day of the event.During the holiday selling season, I always find a few shows to set up at. One particular show is a direct sales boutique. Every vendor there represented a direct sales company. The goal was for each of us to bring our customers to the show. The vendors all sent out notices and we attracted several hundred people to the show. Our flyers had the names of all of the companies represented, so customers knew exactly what to expect when they walked in.My final suggestion for making money offline in network marketing is to host fundraisers for local organizations. I've had inquiries from private schools, nationally known groups and local chapters or groups. They don't all say yes in the end, but getting my information out there is very important to me. I've done school fundraisers that have turned into thousands of dollars of sales for me. Of course I've also done fundraisers that have been a few hundred dollars. Both times, my name and contact information is getting into the hands of local people. While I'm a strong supporter of using the internet to market your products and opportunity, I also believe you should take advantage of local offline opportunities also.

The Truth About Darnell Self of Prepaid Legal Services
One of the top leaders in Prepaid Legal Services right now is Darnell Self. Darnell is what Prepaid Legal Services refers to as a Millionaire Club Member, meaning that he has earned over 1 million dollars in commissions from Prepaid Legal over the course of his career. He is married to Traci Self. Both of them started their careers as mall workers.Believing that there was a better life than their then check-to-check lifestyle, the Self's got involved in network marketing. Darnell's success wasn't immediate however, and he often talks of struggling through their early years in the business. Now Darnell is often referred to as the "face" of legal services. With one of the largest and top producing teams in Prepaid Legal, TeamNuVision, Darnell Self has established himself as one of the icons of such services. But what about the man and his methods? Darnell trains strictly on building a business with warm market. Private business receptions (PBR's), and 3-way calling are the foundation of his "system". This leaves little room for the business associate who does not have a large warm market. Darnell Self, however, the success of Darnell's team has been well documented with well over 40 individuals on his team reaching 6-figure income earner status.Darnell and his leaders also place a significant emphases on personal development, faith, and family. The network marketing method that works better and is smarter is the new school method of building your business using the Internet. Here are the old school ways of building an MLM business...When a brand new rep get's started they first tell them to create a list of their warm market and then call everybody on that list then try to convince your family and friends to join your network marketing business. Of course, your going to want to have weekly home parties or hotel opportunity meetings. After you go after your warm market list they instruct you to go out buy some leads cold call those leads or go bug people at the mall and convince those people that they should take a look at a home based business opportunity that could change their lives.Although, building your business the old school way does work it's just a lot of ground pounding and talking to a bunch of unqualified prospects. It's not smart or leveraged. Now here are the new school ways of building your network marketing business via the Internet...Get your own lead capture page. Drive tons of qualified traffic to your lead capture page. Let the prospect qualify themselves while your away at work or sleeping. No rejection ever! That is the best part. That's something you can't do building your business the traditional way.Using the Internet to grow a network marketing business is smarter, rejection free, and more leveraged.
