Top 5 Tips For the Online Home Business Owner
The online home business industry is a booming industry creating many great opportunities for anyone to make money online. Achieving financial freedom through your own online home business isn't impossible but does require some certain strategies and rules for you to play by. Remember, deciding to have your own online home business is no game and there are some golden tips in which you can follow to help your online home business be more successful.1. Have your own websiteAlthough you can make money online without a website, it is of greater advantage for you to have a website, especially in the long term. A website helps you brand yourself online and make yourself recognized. It also allows you to do whatever you want with it, whether you want to create a blog, post an article about something of interest and even for you to decorate to your hearts desire.2. Avoid information overloadWithout a doubt, everyone who first begins their online home business venture will be bombarded with information. The important action you have to take here is to sift through all this information and read only what is needed. It's like developing selective hearing to your nagging partner or children. Read what you need to read. Learn what you need to learn. Remember not know enough is also dangerous. Keep yourself informed but don't download every eBook you can get your hands on and leave it taking up space on your hard drive.3. Write your own ads and use your own images and banners.A mistake often overlooked by most online home business owners is the use of ads and images in their marketing campaign. They use the same images, banners and marketing emails as everyone else. Be creative. Be unique. This will make your marketing campaign different to other online home businesses and set yourself apart from them.4. Allocate yourself real "work hours"One of the most common mistakes online home business owners make is the belief that having an online home business is the easy and lazy way to earning money. Many think that once they set up a website, the money will pour in. Others think that having a few ads and then sending out a email campaign will do the job. The problem with a work from home online business is that it is still a business and that is how you must treat it. The best thing to do is to allocate some set hours towards your business whether starting at 11am cos you want to sleep in or at 3 pm because you want to have lunch with some friends. You still have to "work". Set up a proper schedule to dedicate yourself to your business.5. Positive mindset and belief in what you doThe power of success lies behind the human mind. For example if you keep sitting there and telling yourself you have a headache, you will be sure to get one soon. If you sit there and tell yourself starting a business requires too much work and is too hard, well, there is not much anyone can do for you there. You are the one driving your business, if you think it can happen then you can make it happen. The power of positive thinking can do many wonders. With these tips in mind, evaluate how you are performing with your online home business and how you can further improve it.For more home business tips, resources and guides visit the Work From Home Online Website.

My Harvest America - Is Anyone Harvesting Incomes From My Harvest America?
My Harvest America has just entered the scene of Network Marketing in December of 2009. Founders Ron Ellis and Fred Weih have brought online grocery stores to the internet. They allow you to do your normal shopping in the center aisles of your grocery stores at discounted prices, and free shipping. The Good: It is funny when you think about online groceries as being a business that someone can form a business around, but the reason it is exploding as it is, because it is an easy subject to talk about. Fred's vision was that one day grocery shopping would be easier and cost less. Now I will say, that what Fred's vision was, and how it came to be may not have been in his first thought of how to do it. But here is why, Fred, could become more famous than Sam Walton in my mind. What is the top two cost factors of any business? They are facilities and people. This is where in my mind, it makes sense. What costs more, one facility or hundreds. Well the advantage of hundreds is that it is everywhere and anyone can go there any time. This drives the costs up. When you have it where one location can meet the needs of customers anytime, and one location then this drives significant costs out of the business, and he is passing it on to you. Ron Ellis was introduced to Fred and Ron was ready to start his own network marketing company and he made the two worlds meet. One area that is nice about this is that they pay the shipping of the groceries to your door by FedEx ground..The Bad: If you need groceries now, you have to resort to your local grocer. As I said in the beginning, they are new, so they are going through a lot of bumps in the area of customer support. They have limited products and they are working to add to them. Also, as I said earlier, it is the center aisle, so you can not get bread, milk, veggies, fruits or meats. When you have a lot of groceries, sometimes the boxes are heavy and if FedEx leaves them at your door, it is hard to carry them in. When they started, the grocery delays were about 18 days, but that is suppose to be improving now, because they took on more responsibility and did not outsource it. This also impacts the unemployment numbers, because if you only ship from one location, the more this becomes popular, local grocers may have to cut back on staff. This is only a United States company for now, but people who live close to the boarders, have found ways to get delivery to a US address and take them international. Customer support is all done via emails, and no way to call to get customer support. Until you join, you can not browse the items you shop for, but they have provided a video of the shopping. Some loyalty shoppers are showing people the prices so you can make a wise decision. The cost is $39.95 per month to get 20-70% off your groceries. In Conclusion:For those that are concerned about the concept, it is not totally new. There have been other companies that do the groceries, and they do the delivery from local stores. Although they did not cut the fat as much as My Harvest America, it was done. It is your choice, can it supplement what you do, yes! You can place orders on a regular basis, and that can speed up the appearance of the delayed deliveries. Out of the center aisles of your shopping, how much do you spend? If you can justify the $39.95 per month, and you save more, then great. The company is not totally transparent, so you do not know how financially strong or weak they are. You are only paid $11 per customer shopping or $1 per loyalty customer in most cases, so do not plan to walk away from your job too fast, but the good news is, if a customer justifies the expense, it definitely sets you up for the residuals. If you are building this as a business, then you need to learn how to really market the business. There are a couple small pockets but most tell you talk to those you know. Just like most networking businesses, training is weak at best, and you will want to seek out assistance of someone who can help you build this fast.

An Insight to Multilevel Marketing
There is a myth in the marketing arena that when the word "multilevel marketing" is heard, a sense of fear creeps into the mind of a person that he/she has been scammed or there is an element of a scam, this is due to a negative image that has been formed over the years about multilevel marketing. This notoriety is all due to some people that have made profits from multilevel marketing system. There is confusion between multilevel marketing and a pyramid scheme. The main difference between MLM and a pyramid scheme is that MLM is a legal business model while former one is scam. Talking in a layman term, MLM is a community business model whose purpose is to remove the middle man and thus lowering the overhead cost so that at the end the customer is not paying for operating cost, store front, labor, utilities and even conventional advertising media. On the other hand pyramiding schemes consists of investment of your money and in return get huge sums of money but in reality it is just relocation of money from down line to up line. The confusion is that pyramid schemes camouflage themselves as legal multilevel marketing business. These schemes bring the same vocabulary and the process of building up into play on your network. In both of the business models you have to market your product, you have to create "marketing network" either you will be sponsored by your up line or you will sponsor down line. The main thing behind the scene is that multilevel marketing is a legitimate marketing business. The commissions comes from down line are just like bonus but the main part of your profit come from your hard work that results in good sales. When you are entering the market MLM is relatively easy to get into. You may get into the business with a small amount, but it is a difficult business to survive in. On the brighter side it is a flexible marketing environment. You can just stay at your place and still earn considerable amount. You need not be a graduate to do this but of course technical sense would surely be of great help to do well in MLM.

Network Marketing - Should I Start a Network Marketing Business?
Are you thinking about dipping your toe into the Sea of Network Marketing? In 2009 and 2010, there have been a lot of people really looking at network marketing businesses. Having said that and talking to many network marketers, I have found some of the most basic questions are often not asked before getting started and then, once you commit and invest in your business, the skeletons come flying out of the closet. Now, I am not going to say that this is a complete list, because I could sit for hours interviewing the people wanting me to join their companies, and I could be interested, but most people would take my questions as challenges and they would feel I did not seriously want to get into their business. Now, for those people out there reading this, let me say please do not contact me about your business, because I have my own and I am very happy and I will not get into your business. Now, the reason you are considering a network marketing company is that someone must have shared an idea of a product that you thought was cool. Now, how quick did they stop talking about the product and said, our real product is to make money, and told you how much you could make? First of all, my question is, why did you contact me? Yes, it may be an in your face approach, but I look for honesty, If they say, because I saw that I could make a lot of money and I wanted to help you, it leads to two other questions.... So you want me to spend money and put it into your pocket? Or the second, why do you want me in your business, to get everyone I know to pad your pocket? When making money is the focus, I will tell you that is red flags to me and the only answer to the questions were yes, if not, they are lying to you! Now, if that person did not approach the money aspect with me first, but it was about the benefits the product could provide me, and it really was serious and genuine I will talk more with that person. The biggest lie someone will tell you when entering into a business is "the product is for everyone, who does not want to make money?". Now, once we talk about the product, I want to know the background of the company. Where and when did the company begin and what is the founders' background? Is the company in debt and beyond hope? What is the companies' competition? Competition is not bad, but that leads to why is your product better. I will never sell something that I know does not provide value to people.Once I know the product is good and provides a value and the company is good, that is where I will ask to see the compensation plan. Most uplines will tell you the person is not worth your time, because they ask too many questions, or they will say, I do not know how I make money but I am making really good money. Warning, Warning Will Robinson! Red flags are now fireworks. Some will avoid compensation questions. Now, if they tell you that you make a profit on all the items, and they are working with a traditional business and it is not a product they develop and they sell for someone else, know that you only make a percentage on the mark up. If they tell you that it is all about getting more people in and you make a percentage by (without them saying it) suckering people into the business to sell it, and the focus on getting reps into the business, you can pretty much discount everything they have said. I will tell you that in 100% of the companies I have worked with, you will not be paid on the actual company costs that register the business. Now, a lot of companies will add their products in a kit, and yes, you make money on those items only. What you will be compensated for is you getting a customer, and a rep can also be a customer, to take products off the company shelves and consume the products. No consumption of a product as a customer, you will always make ZERO!What I look for is someone to be upfront and honest with me. If they do not know, I will get you the answer is the best answer. I will not work for someone who is not honest. I want someone ethical like I am. Do you want to give someone your money you cannot trust? Remember, this interview or conversation with the company is your chance to interview them, and they are interviewing you (Actually, only question their interview contains is how you will be paying to get started.). Remember, not everyone is your customer and if they are not a customer, do them a favor and tell them that you know that the product is not for them and they have to be passionate about it, and you do not want them to feel you deceived them, when you are the rep they are talking to. If they still want to come in, they have no reason to get upset with you, because you told them it was not for them. But let us get back to you are the one being interviewed! Who is the team you will be working with? What are their qualifications? How has the product made a difference for them? Where will you get your contacts? If it is friends and family... run, because they are living in the 1960s. If they tell you they will sell you opportunity seeking leads, this is where they are talking to people the product may not help. You want to profile your customers and if they do not teach you how to do that, then you will need to get help from people that train network marketers. The last area of focus and we will wrap up, what is the training? Can you attend a couple? Now, what I watch is, is it a rah rah session of people saying they made money, or are they outlining proven and strategic plans you can use to build your business! Now, if they say talk to everyone, no they do not have vision. They should be talking about ways to target clients and how to get people who really want and need the product. How your product beats the competition, and facts you can build your business marketing plan around. If they do not have this, I would find someone who will be your mentor and trainer that does. If they work with many networking companies and they have results to share, I would add that to business tools and pay for your one and only employee to take the training. It is well worth it.Also, find an accountant that can save you money, but as you interview them, are they making the money you want to make. Find a legal advisor to advise you on when it comes to business. Find someone helping other small businesses.Yes, network marketing is a great industry, but it is an investment and a business that will require money and work. Yes you can be successful and limit the amount of time and money it takes, but you have to start now, making the best decisions you can as a business owner or prospective business owner.

Are You Being Reverse Recruited?
Here is a rather interesting recruiting technique that I just learned about last week. It is called reverse recruiting. In its most simple form here is what you do:1. Seek out other network marketer's capture or landing pages.2. Fill in the form (which all of these type of pages have on them) with your name, email address and telephone number.3. Get ready for a return email or telephone call.4. Once you get this email or telephone call, you listen to what the person who is attempting to recruit you has to say and then you attempt to recruit him/her into your business opportunity. To be most effective, do not put your telephone number on the form, just your email address. This way you usually get their personal email address.Does it work? All I could tell you is that when I was the victim of such a technique I was filled with utter disgust that an individual from our network marketing industry would sink to this bottom-feeder level just to secure an (unsuspecting) "lead". I wondered all during our brief (my choice) telephone conversation how desperate this person must be to resort to this colossal waste of my time. In short, I felt violated.Would I want to even consider joining this person's team? Absolutely not. And, quite frankly, would I want this person to join mine? Absolutely not. Why? Chances are he/she would resort to these or similar tactics to build his/her group should he decide to sign-up with me. Thanks, but no thanks. When I first started out in network marketing, I (like most everyone else just starting out) was with Amway. It was a tremendous learning experience for me. As a matter of fact, I often refer to it as my graduate degree in network marketing. I still have Amway friends even though I moved to another MLM sixteen or seventeen years ago. Besides the running of the miles and the constant showing of the plan, what I can recall is the level of respect that we all had for the company. If a reverse recruiter resorts to this tactic, what is it telling me about the respect (or lack thereof) he/she has toward his/her network marketing company? Or, worse yet, what is it telling me about the self-respect this person has for himself/herself?

Global Resorts Network Complaints
As with most income opportunities, there are several people who have Global Resorts Network complaints. These complaints usually fall into two types: complaints about the outlying industry of marketing GRN and complaints about the cost of GRN.The first type of Global Resorts Network complaints are the hardest to refute, but the easiest to understand. These issues always revolve around a third-party (non-GRN) marketing plan that revolves around the GRN system. These go by many names, but are usually billed (loosely) as somehow being affiliated with the core GRN system, despite this not being the case. What makes this difficult to explain to people is the marketing that often accompanies these third-party marketing plans. The Global Resorts Network complaints revolving around these usually don't differentiate between the marketing plan being offered and the GRN system itself. It's hard to explain to people that GRN is not a marketing plan, it is a product to sell whereas these unaffiliated marketing systems are just that: unaffiliated.Looking around the Internet on a search for "Global Resorts Network complaints", you will find several examples of this. One is with the Reverse Funnel System by Ty Coughlin. Usually the complaint is that the promises made were not met, though this isn't even Coughlin's problem, it's a problem of expectations. This boils down to the way RFS is marketed: as a get-rich-quick scheme requiring little effort once put in place. Most of us realize that this is not true of any money making opportunity. The other type of complaint is about the cost of GRN. This Global Resorts Network complaint fails to see two basic things. It fails to note the payoff for GRN (three sales equals paying off the cost of your membership) and to fails to see what such a high price for enrollment accomplishes: it separates the chaff, leaving only the kernels. So those making this Global Resorts Network complaint are those who, more likely than not, are only interested in getting rich quickly and without any work on their part. The ones who do not see the high price as anything but a good thing are those who understand that the biggest problem with most business opportunities are the dead weights that join in hoping to cash in on other people's efforts. The GRN price tag for a lifetime membership takes care of most of this. After a lot of exhaustive research, I can tell you that the basis for most Global Resorts Network complaints are of the two types I've listed here. Of course, other complaints might come from the GRN competition or from those who are just generally negative towards anything they see as an opportunity that isn't marketed in traditional ways (television, print ads). Those last types of Global Resorts Network complaints can be written off as pure jealousy on the part of those who aren't willing to take note of the success that GRN affiliates are capable of achieving. They prefer to be pessimistic and talk down about the possibilities because doing so it much easier than actually participating and taking part in that success.

A Numis Network Review - Will Coins Lead You to Success?
Open your eyes and take a look around and you'll surely notice the big buzz being created by Numis Network. With that, a lot of people are being curious. What's the hype with this company? Is it something for me, as a marketer, to keep an eye on?Numis Network is a network marketing company being paired with the act of collecting coins. It was mid 2009 that the company was formally introduced to the public. With the company's unique product, it is said and believed by many that it will make a momentum in the marketing industry. But the question is "For how long will the company be able to sustain that momentum?" As of now, no one can tell, right? It is because the company has just started. Only one thing is certain and that is if the leadership behind the company is great, then it has the possibility to maintain the momentum and have a progressive success. If you look at the present status of the company, you will notice that Numis Network has already captivated the interest of some of the industry's top marketers. Well, that only shows that the momentum has been established already.Okay, Numis Network may have established its name already. Let's now see the benefits one can get from engaging to the company. If you are a representative or customer of the company, on a monthly basis, you will receive a silver or gold coin. To add up, those coins do come with MS70 certification and are claimed to be priced competitively. What is that certification? It is a certification that is considered to be the highest certification a coin can get. Well, what's the difference of those coins from those which can be seen in the market? Aren't they the same? Yes, they are the same BUT those that are in the market aren't certified. With the information being gathered and seen, along with the hype the company has created, it can be concluded that Numis Network is really an interesting company for someone to be engaged in. But then, is that enough for an individual be convinced to join? What if in the next day, week or months a shift in the metal market occurs? Will the momentum still remain? It's a good thing to consider that despite of the current economy situation we have, there are still people who find value in buying a product like what Numis Network has. And take note, their product isn't consumable. That is why a question is raised "Until when do those people buy such coin considering that it isn't consumable?" As of now, nobody can really tell and judge the company and how it progresses. In the marketing arena, the company's success and existence really depends on the leadership behind it. Yes, it depends upon the people managing it. In Numis Network, some of the great and top marketers are already a part of the company. So does it mean it has established a good foundation that will make its existence prolonged? In conclusion, Numis Network is a company that is great. It is a good company for an individual to engage in only and only if he or she has a good foundation of marketing skills and knowledge. Yes, the company may have been backed up by some of the greatest marketers in the industry but you have to consider the fact that your success will not really depend on the company, from the people who are part of it nor the product it promotes. Those are just some of the important factors you need to give an eye. Your real success will depend on how you will use your knowledge and skills to market the business. But don't bother yourself too much if you think your knowledge and skills aren't enough. There are experts out there that can guide you through. That is why seeking an expert's help is a good option for you. After all, your knowledge and skills will be your right weapon to win and survive the steep competition in the industry.

Building a Loyal Team
One of the biggest issues in MLM is the drop out rate. I have explored legitimate reasons to change companies in a previous article, so here I want to address how to keep people through the "minor" bumps. What might cause someone to drop out?
Problems with the products
Disagreement with someone else in their upline
Lack of success
Let me know if you think of any others I should address in another article! But for now, let's address these 3.Every company has a product glitch now and then. Sometimes the product is so popular, they can't make it fast enough and back orders happen. Sometimes they change the formula and not everyone is thrilled. Perhaps there is a labeling error, or a recall based on safety concerns. These are all things the company can work their way through, but how do you keep your distributors from quitting in the meantime? It is all based on the groundwork you laid. Getting to know your people, recognizing their personality type, and helping them improve themselves and learn new skills will win their loyalty. Then when these obstacles come up, you can reassure them that the situation is temporary and they will actually believe you. If no relationship exists between you and your distributors, your communications to them about these issues may fall on deaf ears!I have two personal examples of the second cause. In a former company, my sponsor's sponsor was trying to get me to attend an event. If you have read my other articles then you know I do believe in attending company events, but I also believe people sometimes have a legitimate reason why they can't go. I had what I felt at the time was a good reason. So this guy says to me, "you will fail if you do not attend this event." Now that is a pretty strong statement. I am smart enough to know that when the company was founded, this particular event didn't even exist, and yet the original distributors somehow succeeded without it, didn't they? Hmmm...he REALLY ticked me off!The second instance is in my current company. On a training call, someone in my upline came down very hard on me (and some other people) right there in front of our peers. Whether or not we needed a lesson is actually irrelevant, although I still personally feel he was at much at fault for the misunderstanding as anyone else. The point is that he really ticked me (and some other people) off! When something like this happens on your team, you must reassure the offended person that sometimes disagreements happen and to not let it rent space in their head. Again, if your relationship with them is strong, they will be grateful for your sympathy or empathy and will move past the problem. I did!The third issue again is one of relationship building. Get to know your people. Plug them in to a great training system to get the skills they need. Help them recognize both their strengths and their weaknesses and what to do with them. And reassure them that a successful team is not built overnight and they need to be patient and persevere. If you are not yet as successful as you would like, and don't have a great personal story to share, then find someone in the company who does have that story and do a 3-way call. The most important thing here is, don't just work with your successful distributors. When someone is not succeeding, if they are truly not working the business as you have coached them, plug them in to self development and let them work on themselves. If they are trying to work hard, find out what they need to change. Help only those who want help, but if they do want help, do not ignore them! It only hurts your credibility in the long run.Success in MLM is all about retention. You don't want to spend your entire life recruiting new people! So realize in advance that these challenges will come up and be ready to face them.

How to Achieve MLM Success - Use These 6 Daily Actions
"Some people dream of success... while others wake up and work hard at it." ~ Author UnknownAchieving success in any endeavor requires action and consistency. Have you put together your plan of action? Are you working this plan consistently? I am going to share 6 Daily Actions to put into place that will allow you to build a successful business.Jim Britt, entrepreneur, speaker, author, and peak performance specialist, shared his 6 Daily Actions (in a high-definition video on iLearningGlobal) that changed his business after enduring months of struggle. Jim is the expert in Network Marketing and states you WILL build your business if you apply these actions every day. So, let's get started!Action #1 - Use your product and share it with others."Be a product of the product". This appears to be so simple to do, but people do not do it. Why? You need to be aware of other people's needs and wants; these people might want and need what you have to offer.Action #2 - Share the business opportunity. This sounds simple, doesn't it? People share the product but are scared to share the opportunity. Share your opportunity with as many people as you can. Do not pre-judge people. You do not know where they are at in their life. You are the messenger, not the message. Use your tools (presentations, webinars, live events, DVDs, 3-way calls, etc.) to tell the story.Action #3 - Follow up.This is the one thing that most networkers miss. I know I have heard... "The money is in the follow up!" You should always keep these two words in mind... "What's next?" You introduce someone to your presentation, what's next? You sign up a new team member, what's next? You share a product with a new customer, what's next? There should always be a "What's next?"Action #4 - Build a team. When you first get started in network marketing, it is just you and you are working on building something. As you start building your team, you create what Jim Britt calls your "success unit" (your success unit is what you need to maximize your compensation plan). For you, maybe it is having 3 people. You will then really start to take off and have a "power unit", which is when you have 3 people, who have 3 people, who have 3 people, etc.Action #5 - Look for and develop self-sustaining leaders.Jim Britt shared a discussion he had with one leader who stated he recruited one person every month for 5 years (so he recruited 60 people in total). Of those 60 people, 5 leaders were developed and from these leaders, this individual was earning $50,000/month. So, here is the question... Would you be interested in earning $50,000/month? Find people with spark, interest, drive, and ambition to build a business. Work with these serious people until they become self-sustaining and self-motivating leaders.Action #6 - Apply "Self-Management".This is extremely critical. There is not a lot to manage in the network marketing business. The accounting, warehousing, product development, R&D, etc. is all done for you! So, what is there to manage? YOU. Your attitude, your vision, your goals, your time. It is important to stay in "self-management" mode all the time. Then, before you go to bed each night, reflect back on your day and the 6 Daily Actions:1 - Did you use your product and share it with others?2 - Did you share your business opportunity?3 - Did you follow-up?4 - Did you work on your team building?5 - Did you find or help develop leaders?6 - Did you manage yourself?Incorporate the 6 Daily Actions into your day and you will build a successful business. Even if you do not do it well, keep doing it. You will achieve success because you have worked hard at it!To your success and transformation,Andrea Petoskey

Success in Network Marketing - Can I Be Successful?
Speak to any network marketer, the more successful they are, the more open they will be about the "doubt" that had in the beginning. In today's economy starting a business... any business... opens the door to uncertainty. But let's face it, the days of working for a company for 50 years, getting your own parking space in the company parking lot, and retiring with that gold watch are gone!.Its time to wake up and realize you need to look out for #1, because no one else is going to do that for you! Having conversed with many successful marketers, here are the two main "thoughts" I have collected, that each new entrepreneur should address.Pick the Right MLM Company:There are thousands of "opportunities" out there in the world. You need to go slow and analyze your options. Most people have been through the interview process looking for a job, now the shoe is "on the other foot." You are interviewing the company to see if you are a good fit for them. Carefully review their position in the marketing world and their financials.Use their products. You will need to have your own personal testimonial on the success you have had with your MLM and their products. People will be looking into your eyes and they need to really believe you think this is a good product.Review their compensation plan. Be very cautious of MLM companies that require you to bring other people into the company in order to even get your start money back. You need to be an independent person. If you can't cover costs by yourself, how can others believe you are making the money they want?Get the Necessary Training:Most companies still follow the traditional marketing tactics of the 60's of "friends and family". In today's world you need some serious Network marketing training to be successful. You need to position yourself on the Web, and drive targeted traffic to that site, so you have serious people to show your products and services to.This may require you to go to an outside source for this training. Research this expense and allocate enough of your startup capital to this endeavor. You don't want a garage full of "product" and no one to speak to.In Conclusion:If you take network marketing seriously, pick the right company, and get the necessary training, then success is a real possibility. If you don't take it seriously, then after about 3 months, you will be using some nasty 4 letter words... like fail... and quit.
