Most of us are familiar with the New York Times bestselling book by Robert Kiyosaki entitled "Rich Dad Poor Dad." In his book he gave a parallel description concerning two fathers one who lived off profits (Rich Dad) and the other who lived on wages (Poor Dad). I was thinking about this book the other day and came up with a scenario of my own. I put a twist on this story as it relates to the deception of debt.Day after day children all over the world are being deceived. They make the assumption that their parents are rich and can provide them with whatever their hearts desire. This type of deception has given the child a false sense of financial stability. While in reality the parent is bound in a multitude debt.Even though you may want the best for your family, are you giving them the very best that you have to offer? One should never let the wealth of the world dictate how they should live. We all have a certain lifestyle that we should live in, utilizing our current income not our credit. Living with a tremendous amount of debt just to show off, is just not smart.Therefore you have to ask yourself these questions:· Is the vehicle you drive the one you can afford, or the one that satisfies your taste?· Do you live in the house of your dreams, or the one within your means?· Do you need that big screen television and the latest video components?· Do you really need all those shoes or that expensive piece of jewelry?· Are you comfortable in your current financial situation?· Are you been able to take a vacation or spend quality time with your family?· Can you leave your children an inheritance according to Proverbs 13:22?Remember that your children will love you no matter what all they need is you unconditional love. We live in a world that God created not in a world that society has created. A fake lifestyle is just that. Learn to enjoy the reality of where you are. This simply means getting your face and personality out there, so people know who YOU are apart from any company of affiliate program you may represent.Why is this so important? Because people buy from, or join, people that they know, like, and trust. Some people are afraid to say too much about themselves, or express opinions, or talk about controversial subjects. They fear they will alienate someone. But if people don't know what you stand for or believe in, how can anyone really know, like, and trust you? Of course not everyone will agree with you! A big advantage of submitting articles to well-known sites like this one, is that people already know the url and what they will find there. People come to this site looking for ideas for their own material, or perhaps for good authors to write for them (I am hoping they do anyway:) If they find your articles and like what they see, they will visit your website. And that is what we are all striving for! We want to drive traffic to our website. Plus this site has these fun contests to give us incentive to write more, getting more exposure! (hint: nobody is likely to give you any prizes for posting often to your own blog!) And you can earn the title of "expert" and use it as an endorsement on your website if you like!Blogging is the platform where you will likely give the most personal and uncensored information (in my opinion). What most personal branding experts recommend, is that you host your own blog (don't place it on someone else's website) and make that website the "hub" of your personal branding activity. When you host your own blog, you have total control of what goes on that web page. You don't have to include advertisements unless you want to and you control which ones are there. You don't have to link to any others sites unless you choose (which could draw your reader's attention away from you.) You control how "fancy" it is which affects how fast the page loads. Finally, nobody can close you down for the material you present unless it is illegal (more on censoring later.)Social media profiles can have varying amounts of information depending on the site and your choice. Twitter is limited unless you know how to customize your background (or pay someone else to do it) and even then, since the timeline occupies the majority of the space your personal information will be limited. But you can still drive traffic to your website! And you can set keyword alerts for Twitter on some free "Twitter application" sites to help you find people to follow and people to contact. Facebook not only allows you to set up your profile with tons of information, but you can join and create groups, join and create fan pages, and do all sorts of things to build relationships. Linked is more for people in the traditional business environment to connect and recommend each other, and I have not personally used it for MLM. Those are the only ones I belong to but feel free to explore! New sites are appearing all of the time.Videos have several advantages. The search engines love them so you can be found almost instantly after posting a video. Also, if you appear on camera yourself (which I highly recommend) this allows viewers to really get a sense of having connected with you on a deeper level than just be reading something you wrote. Your passion and emotions will come through even stronger and you can use gestures and facial expressions that writing just can't emulate. One major caution about using videos to promote MLM: many sites have banned any MLM or network marketing content! So if you want to post on these sites, you must stick with general business topics like customer service, or general personal development topics like the Law of Attraction.Posting to forums and commenting on other people's material is also controlled and censored by the website owners, but it is a great way to create backlinks to your website to help your search engine rankings, plus you could start some new relationships that way. All in all, Reliv comes out looking not too bad at all after a lengthy and somewhat exhausting review (except for the soy, that is).

One of the most important things you have to learn in the internet marketing industry is that you have to remain true to yourself. What I mean is that you cannot try to be someone you are not.You cannot be someone who gets on the phone with a prospect and make outrageous income claims. You can- not be the person to tell others that they will not have to put in the time that is necessary to find the success they are looking for. Doing these things will only lead to being exposed as the scam artist you are trying to be. I see it all the time, 'No work, no investment (financial or otherwise), free money!', 'Just sign up today (I'll rob you later) and in no time you will have everything I am promising you!' Please, do not fall for this stuff.Personally, what I have found to be the best marketing strategy is to be honest and straightforward with whomever I am speaking to. I make sure to tell my potential team members and team members themselves, that what we are doing is not going to happen overnight. I make sure to tell them there is an investment involved. Yes, a financial investment (this is a business) as well as a personal investment. True, there are a lot of people looking for a quick buck, and when they find out that the business model I use is going to take some actual work in their part, they hang up, or ask why I am not promising them the world. I really don't know where these type of people end up. I could guess, but it really is not worth my time.I am not saying you should not promote yourself as being successful. If you are truly in this business for the reasons that are right for you then you are already successful. It does not matter how much money you made last month. Asea, Inc - Is it a Legitimate Company? Does it Have a Unique Product?

Let me start right out by saying that Asea is a solid company. Let me also say that I am not in the company, be it on their corporate side or as a distributor. That being said, I'm going to cover as to why, in my opinion they are a good company and it is a good business opportunity, but with one big caveat, that I'll go into soon enough.The company is listed on the Better Business Bureau, and if that isn't already good enough, since a lot of companies are not, they even have a B+ rating, which is darn good I'd say considering the industry they are in where lots of non-legitimate companies operate. They have been listed there since September of 2007 with nothing reported as far as any issues go that had to be worked out or addressed. This credential alone already puts them head and shoulders above the rest.They don't appear to be a public company by the simple searches I've done on them, and there weren't any obvious descriptions of such on their site regarding it. I usually look for this in a company since being regulated by the SEC adds to credibility. This lack of listing however may just coincide with the infancy of the company just judging by the year of their BBB listing and domain name registration, which was December 2008. Not many companies can go public only a few years into operation, so that should not be held against them.The company has solid management with vision and experience. Their products are backed by science and are in a niche that is widely accepted. They have with them all the makings of a great success story to unfold. I won't spend the time here to rehash what it is they exactly do or who they are as their website does an excellent job at that. Rather, here I'll focus on what you should know or consider if you are considering the business opportunity side of them.Well, so far we've covered that the company and products are sound. The compensation plan is lucrative and common. Bottom line is you'll make as much money as good of a marketer you are. What? What does that mean? That's the caveat I was talking about. You see, on their site where they talk about the opportunity, they have the classic examples of a proven system in place and just sharing the idea of the company with others to make money. Classic and proven, however all systems don't fit all people. So while they have a system, as many do, that might have worked tremendously for some people, the sad fact is those who try it who don't find success are left to fail. Also, if they have a classic system of sharing the products and opportunity with your friends, family and acquaintances, what happens when you run out of people you know that you can talk to? Is the size of your business going to be governed by the amount of people you know? It shouldn't, and it doesn't have to.What then? How do I know if their system is going to fail with me?
